‘With Argentinean Passion and French Elegance’

The ‘Friends of ARTE Society’ is a not-for-profit cultural organization that is located at the heart of Nicosia and is housed inside the Archontiko Technon, a mansion built in 1915.
The organization is dedicated to promoting all forms of culture in order to give a new prospective to the current cultural scene of Cyprus.
It strives to provide opportunities to a variety of young artists (painters, musicians, actors etc) to present their work and attempts to combine different genres
and bring together all different forms of Art.
So far, it has hosted some very important personalities such as the Nobel Prize winner poet "Thomas Transtromer".
‘With Argentinean Passion and French Elegance’ is dedicated to the composers Astor Piazzolla (1921 – 1992) and Claude Debussy (1862 – 1918).
We would like to express our gratitude to our audio engineer Sofoklis Sofokleous for the endless nights he worked with us on this project,
as well as the ‘Foundation of Cyprus Symphony Orchestra’ (www.cyso.org.cy) for allowing us their harp for the recordings of this project.
The official presentation of the CD took place on Monday 29th October 2012, 20:00 at ARTE with a concert by our recording artists.
